The Chicago Boys Club was incorporated in 1902. In 1984, the name was changed to Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago to reflect the many young women we had welcomed into our Clubs for years. Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago is a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, which was ranked one of the "100 Best Charities in America" by WORTH magazine in 2001 and 2002 based on financial efficiency, strength of reputation and program effectiveness.
