COVID-19 Response | How to Help Our Clubs

Make a Gift to Support Our Clubs

During these uncertain times, our Club members need your help now more than ever. It is only through your generosity that we can continue to support our Club kids, your gift will make a life-changing difference for Chicago's neediest kids at a time of crisis.

Your gift will allow Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago (BGCC) to provide critical services to our children during the COVID-19 crisis - services including nutritious meals, wellness check-ins and a Virtual Club experience.

A Club for Home | Semi-Colon Bookstore

Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago is providing our members with A Club for Home kits filled with crafts, games, educational supplies, and healthy snacks to keep them on track in the days ahead. In a concerted effort to support local businesses and expand upon the early childhood literacy program, BGCC has partnered with Semicolon Bookstore to get books into the hands of Club members to read as part of their A Club for Home.

Semicolon Bookstore and Gallery is Chicago's only black woman-owned bookstore and gallery space and is committed to nurturing the connection between literature, art, and the pursuit of knowledge; while also using the power of words to better our community.

To purchase books that will be delivered directly to BGCC, go to the Semicolon online store.

Timeless Toys was established in 1993 in Lincoln Square with a vision of becoming a toy store that would be an urban oasis for children and their families that offers a wide selection of creative play toys, games, puzzles, books and more.

A Club for Home | Virtual Club Experience

All Clubs have transitioned to an online Virtual Club experience in an effort to stay connected to our Club members. Volunteers can contribute to the Virtual Club by creating a video or an infographic that complements the weekly Virtual Club theme or has learning outcomes that are affiliated with BGCC’s programming priorities of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles and Character & Leadership.
