Volunteer Opportunity Logistics
Why is your group/company interested in volunteering with Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago?
*
Explain the goals and expectations for your group's volunteer event.
*
What type of volunteer engagement would your group like to have at our Club and what does a successful event look like?
*
Types of volunteer engagements include facility improvement or beautification, youth games, relays, crafts, cooking, club programs or on-site projects completed at a company's workplace including creating hygiene kits.
What is the range in number of volunteers your volunteer group would have on-site for this event?
*
Please anticipate the likely percentage of volunteers who typically drop-off as the event approaches. The usual size of a volunteer group that we are typically able to have the capacity to accommodate is 10-15.
Is there a budget set aside for the volunteer event? If so, what is the amount the group/company would be able to cover for the event.
*
An event with a budget would prevent the club from utilizing their own resources. If an event requires youth transportation we graciously request that the group/company covers the cost of transportation. The usual cost of a bus to transport youth ranges between $250-$300.
If the opportunity you are seeking involves hosting youth at your workplace, what is ideal number of youth that you are able to accommodate?
