Corporate Partner Engagements

Below is a list of opportunities from January-May shared by Clubs that explain how your group or company can make an an even greater impact through volunteer engagements. Please refer to the FAQ’s on the previous page for additional information. If you looking for opportunities to get involved with Clubs from September-December, those opportunities will become available to view in mid-late August.


As a reminder, BGCC graciously requests that A Club For Life partners donate programmatic costs for each engagement.

Non-ACFL partners are invited to make a significant impact by donating programmatic costs for each engagement, along with a mutually agreed-upon contribution to support the Club's transformative efforts within the community. These programmatic costs include program supplies and essential background check expenses ($50 per volunteer) that ensure the safety and integrity of our volunteer engagements.

Mon, Feb 9 | Valentine's Day Craft | Jordan Club

Description: We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to lend a hand during a Valentine's Day art activity to help guide youth and support their creation of Valentine's for their friends and family! Volunteers will make this activity more engaging and your financial support will help provide quality art supplies.

Description: Join the Club’s Financial Literacy program with about 20-25 teens, serving as volunteers to support the activity facilitated by the Club staff member.

Description: Support the BGCC Basketball tournament by serving as scorekeepers and serving lunch.

Mon, Feb 23 | Welcome Wagon & Arts | Jordan Club

Description: Celebrate our Club members as they arrive at the Club by cheering on their arrival, making them feel welcome and providing them with a goodie bag provided by the partner. After the Welcome Wagon concludes, volunteers will join Club arts programming.

Thu, Feb 26 | Black History Month Showcase | Jordan Club

Description: Volunteers will assist with setting up for the Club showcase, helping prepare the space for an evening where Club members will dance and present projects they’ve been working on throughout January and February .Volunteers will help serve food, set up gym and decorations.

MARCH 

Mon, March 2 | SMART Girls Spa Day | Gantz Club

Description: Volunteers will help create a welcoming, confidence-boosting experience for Club members by supporting a self-care activity made possible through our partner’s donation. Together, volunteers will assist youth with activities such as nail care, eye masks, and access to hygiene essentials including deodorant spray, body spray, and lotions. To help create a comfortable and supportive environment, women volunteers are preferred.

Friday, March 6 | Fitness Clinic | Rusu-McCartin Club

Description: 

Volunteers will support the Club’s Fitness Clinic, a fun and interactive event for youth participating in Passport to Manhood and Smart Girls programs. Volunteers will assist Club staff with leading activities, encouraging participation, and supporting workouts, games, and team challenges that promote healthy living, confidence, and positive habits. By helping create an energetic and welcoming environment, volunteers will show Club members that fitness can be fun, motivating, and part of everyday life.

Description: BGCC youth will compete in a soccer tournament held in partnership with the NWSL’s Chicago Stars FC. Volunteers will help facilitate a positive, well-organized experience by supporting tournament logistics and cheering on Club members throughout the day.

Description: Join the Post-Secondary fair and share details with Club and community members about internships, scholarships, details and next steps on how to enter a certain field or industry.

Fri, March 13 | Pi Day, Welcome Wagon and Club Rotation | King Club

Description: Celebrate our Club members as they arrive at the Club by cheering on their arrival, making them feel welcome and providing them with a goodie bag provided by the partner. After the Welcome Wagon concludes, volunteers will join Club arts programming.  After the welcome activities, volunteers will join Club arts programming and support a Pi Day celebration featuring hands-on math activities and a friendly Pi memorization challenge, where youth compete to recall the most digits of Pi.

Description: During the week, help prepare the Club members for the Spelling Bee.

Tue, March 24 | SMART Girls Summit | Pedersen-McCormick Club Club

Description: This is a capstone event for the SMART Girls program which is a small group health, fitness and education program primarily serving girls ages 8-14, designed to enhance self-esteem and promote healthy lifestyles. The event is similar to a “conference” with sessions in the morning, lunch, followed by a variety of sessions in the afternoon.

Week of March 23-26 | Games Room and Basketball Tournaments | Jordan Club

Description: During multiple days throughout Spring Break, the Jordan Club will host youth tournaments featuring basketball and Gamesroom competitions, including ping pong, pool, and foosball. Volunteers are needed each day to support tournament activities by providing Gamesroom oversight and assisting with basketball scorekeeping or refereeing.

Week of March 23-26 | Spelling Bee Competition and Practice | Jordan Club

Description: During the week of Spring Break and in the weeks leading up to it, help prepare the Club members for the Spelling Bee and help facilitate the Spelling Bee the day of the Competition.

Thu, March 26 | Bitty Basketball and Cheer Showcase | McCartin Club

Description: Volunteers will support a basketball and cheer event for youth ages 5–7, helping ensure a fun, organized, and positive experience for our youngest Club members. Responsibilities include assisting with lunch service, supporting event flow, and serving as scorekeepers during basketball games. Volunteers will work alongside Club staff to create an encouraging and energetic environment for participants and their families.

Description: Spend an afternoon helping a fun and friendly robotics and drone competition with club members! In small groups, volunteers and youth work together to create the obstacles and environment that they will compete in. Trophies, smiles, and fun food sounds like a great afternoon full of impact. No experience is necessary.

Description: Spend an afternoon snacking on finger food while painting on canvas (ok, maybe we'll use forks)! Canvas, paint, and snacks w/ great company- what can be better! In small groups, following video offering step-by-step paint instruction, paint, snack, and connect with Chicago's next generation of leaders.
