Swim Team

2026-2027 Season: September 20, 2026 to March 20, 2027

Purpose

The purpose of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Chicago's (BGCC) Aquatics Department is to provide programming, services, and facilities that support the community's recreational and fitness needs. BGCC is committed to making swimming part of the basic life skills taught at our Clubs to reduce water-related injuries, particularly in communities where children are most at risk.

Vision

The vision of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Chicago (BGCC) swim team is to further develop the swimming skills of each child in the program, allowing all who participate to improve their swimming technique and endurance. Additionally, the swim team program will provide participants with opportunities to experience personal growth by setting individual and group goals, fostering team bonding, and building friendships while engaging in healthy competition.
