Our Story

Legacy Charter School is a public charter school educating over 450 children in pre-k through 8th grade in Chicago's North Lawndale neighborhood. Legacy believes in the possibilities of each child and is committed to helping every child fulfill his or her potential. At Legacy, high expectations, lots of support, and a commitment to knowing and understanding each scholar are all elements in building strong foundations for sustainable success. A three year partnership with Legacy has led to serving 60 youth from grades Kinder through 8th grade.
