  • What are Regular Club Volunteers?

Regular Club Volunteers are volunteers who are ages 18+ and support club staff with programs that work directly with the youth in one-to-one or group environments. Some of these programs include Power Hour or DIY STEM (homework help and academic programs), Triple Play (sports and health/fitness programs), Passport to Manhood or SMART Girls (healthy lifestyle programs), Torch & Keystone (character and leadership programs) and so much more in the areas of social recreation, computers, art, career exploration, etc. Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago needs Regular Club Volunteers who are able to commit to a regular weekly commitment for a minimum of 1-2 hours per week. A minimum time period of at least 4-6 months or a full school semester during the CPS school year is required. Volunteers will maintain a schedule during the week Monday-Friday and the greatest time of need for volunteers is between the immediate after school hours of 3:00-6:00 PM or as late as 8:00 PM depending on the club location. Please note the clubs are not regularly open on weekends.
